Choosing a marketing agency for a college or training institute
What to ask a marketing agency before hiring them for an education institute, and why understanding the admissions calendar matters more than general creative skill.

A flat monthly marketing budget badly fits an admissions cycle where nearly all high-intent search activity concentrates into a few weeks following results announcements. Budgeting deliberately around this calendar produces far better results than spreading spend evenly.
Ad spend increased after the admissions window has effectively closed reaches a much smaller, less relevant audience than the same spend deployed during the actual decision window — timing here matters more than total budget size.
Spending the same budget two weeks later than needed can mean reaching almost no one who is still actually deciding.
Institutes with more than one intake cycle per year (for certain courses or lateral entry) need separate budget planning for each cycle's own calendar, rather than assuming one annual peak covers every program.
Concentrate the majority of ad spend into the weeks immediately following results announcements — this is where nearly all of the year's high-intent search volume actually occurs.
