Beauty & Wellness

Booking bridal trials months ahead of the wedding, and the next session before a facial or laser client leaves, with results shown the way ASCI's code allows.

The problem

What makes this sector different

Beauty and wellness are sold on visible results, yet ASCI's code, the CCPA's 2022 guidelines on misleading advertisements and endorsements, and Meta's and Google's ad policies all limit how results can be shown. Weight-loss claims made for a drug or remedy can fall under the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act 1954, and ASCI's guidelines on skin lightening and fairness products restrict how fairness is shown. Clients find a salon on Instagram but book by WhatsApp or phone, so the post behind an appointment is easily lost. Bridal trials are booked months before the wedding, and slots before Karva Chauth fill at once while ordinary weekdays stay empty.

How the decision gets made. A haircut, facial or trial class is booked on impulse from Instagram or Google Maps, often for the same week. A laser course, bridal package, clinic treatment or annual membership is weighed for longer, after a consultation, a close look at reviews and before-and-after work, and usually a conversation with a partner, parent or friend who shares the cost or the occasion.

What each discipline does for beauty & wellness

A salon or clinic sells time in a practitioner's diary, and an unbooked slot cannot be sold later. We work on what fills that diary: a treatment menu clients understand, a booking page that works from Instagram, campaigns ahead of the bridal and pre-Karva Chauth rushes, and reminders that bring clients back. Skincare brands get the same attention on packaging and product pages.

Branding & Identity

A treatment menu that matches your Instagram grid

The treatment menu, gift voucher and reception signage should match the Instagram grid that brought the client in. We define colour, type, photography style and tone of voice, including how treatments and ingredients are described without overstating what they do. Skincare brands get packaging with room for the declarations the Cosmetics Rules 2020 require.

  • Treatment menu and price list design
  • Instagram grid and story templates
  • Skincare pack and label layout with space for Cosmetics Rules declarations

Web Design & UI/UX

What the treatment involves, what it costs and when you can come in

Visitors typically arrive from Instagram on a phone and want to know what the treatment involves, what it costs and when they can come in. We design treatment pages covering process, aftercare, duration and price range, practitioner profiles with qualifications, and a booking button connected to your salon software or WhatsApp. Package and membership pages set out cancellation, rescheduling and what happens to unused sessions.

  • Treatment pages covering process, aftercare and price range
  • Mobile booking flow linked to your salon or clinic software
  • Package and membership terms, including unused sessions

Digital Marketing

Bridal trials and first visits booked from Instagram and Maps

We manage Instagram reels and posts that show the work, the space and the practitioners, using client images only with written consent, and run Meta and Google Ads within their rules on cosmetic and weight-loss claims. Google Business Profile carries your service menu, price ranges and practitioner photos. Bridal campaigns start months before the wedding season, and WhatsApp messages invite lapsed clients back where they agreed to hear from you.

  • Instagram reels and posts from consented client work
  • Meta and Google Ads within their cosmetic and weight-loss policies
  • Bookable treatment list on Google Maps with practitioner photos

Digital Transformation

Laser courses and packages finished, not left to expire

A client finishes the second session of a laser course, nobody books the third, and the rest of the package expires unused. We link your salon or clinic software to reminders timed to each treatment's interval, patch-test records for colour services and package balances the front desk sees at checkout. Consultation forms record marketing consent separately from treatment consent. A report shows unused sessions, no-shows and rebookings by practitioner.

  • Session reminders timed to each treatment's interval
  • Package balances and expiry alerts at checkout
  • Unused-session, no-show and rebooking report by practitioner

Our approach

How we work in beauty & wellness

01

We connect each Instagram profile, Google Business Profile listing and ad to one booking page or WhatsApp number, so each appointment can be traced to the post or search that started it.

02

We set a before-and-after protocol covering written client consent, matched lighting and angle, and no retouching, with separate rules for posts on your own grid and for paid ads.

03

We run bridal trial campaigns months before the local wedding season, open pre-Karva Chauth bookings early so the rush spreads across the week, and use weekday offers and memberships to fill quiet slots.

04

We brief local creators on the disclosure labels and filter rules in ASCI's influencer guidelines, and give each a unique booking link or code, so you can see which collaborations produced appointments.

Questions

Beauty & Wellness marketing, answered

Can we use before-and-after photos in our ads?
On your own website and Instagram grid, yes, with written client consent, matched lighting and angle, and no retouching, because ASCI's code requires advertising to be truthful and not exaggerate results. Paid ads are stricter: Meta restricts before-and-after images for cosmetic procedures and weight loss, so we build those ads around the consultation, the practitioner and the process instead. Where a doctor performs the treatment, the professional conduct rules on advertising enforced by the National Medical Commission and state medical councils also apply, and we write to them.
Are influencer collaborations worth it for a salon or skincare brand?
They can be, if the creator's audience matches your clients: followers within travelling distance for a salon or clinic, and people with the right skin or hair concerns for a skincare brand. The brief follows ASCI's influencer guidelines, so the post carries a prominent label such as 'Ad' and uses no filter that makes a beauty product's effect look greater than it is. Each creator gets a unique booking link or discount code, and you judge the collaboration by bookings and orders rather than likes.
Our Instagram gets likes but very few bookings. What is going wrong?
Usually the path from post to appointment is broken: no prices, no booking link, or messages answered hours later. We add a booking link and price highlights to the profile, set up WhatsApp quick replies for common questions, and track which posts lead to messages and bookings. Content decisions are then based on appointments, not likes.
