Choosing a marketing agency for a SaaS company
What to ask a marketing agency before hiring them for a SaaS company, and why understanding activation and retention matters more than campaign creativity.

A SaaS homepage that opens with a feature list assumes the visitor already understands why they need the product. Most do not — they arrived with a problem, and the homepage's first job is confirming, immediately, that this product solves it.
If your product serves genuinely different segments (small teams versus enterprise, different industries), a single generic homepage undersells the product to each. Dedicated landing pages, linked from ads and search, speak directly to each segment's actual problem.
A visitor decides whether your homepage is relevant to them before they read a single feature description.
Match the call to action to your actual sales model — a self-serve, lower-price product usually converts better on 'start free trial', while a higher-touch, enterprise product converts better on 'book a demo'. Offering both as equally prominent options often confuses more than it helps.
Lead the homepage with the problem you solve and for whom, not a feature list — a visitor decides in seconds whether the page is relevant to them.
