Textiles & Apparel

Turning a sourcing manager's swatch request into an approved lab dip, a bulk order and a reorder the following season.

The problem

What makes this sector different

A sourcing manager may collect a mill's header card at a trade fair, then judge it weeks later on its website, its PDF catalogue and how quickly swatches arrive. Before any order, the buyer's compliance team asks for evidence on social audits, restricted substances and traceability, and that evidence is often scattered across email threads. Domestic labels work to their retailers' order dates, while uniform suppliers work to the school year and institutional tender deadlines.

How the decision gets made. An export order usually starts with a merchandiser or sourcing manager requesting swatches, moves through lab dips, strike-offs or fit samples and a compliance check, and is signed off by the buying head or the importer's owner once price and delivery window are agreed. Uniform contracts for schools, hospitals and companies are more often settled by a purchase committee or a tender, including on the Government e-Marketplace for public bodies.

Services in this sector

What each discipline does for textiles & apparel

A buyer approves a lab dip or a hand-feel swatch and expects the bulk order to match it in colour, handle and finish. We hold your marketing to the same test, so the header card at a fair, the catalogue online and the record of every sample dispatched all tell a buyer the same thing.

Branding & Identity

Header cards buyers can sort after Heimtextil

Sourcing teams collect samples from stall after stall at Heimtextil, Texworld or Bharat Tex and sort them later by header card. We design an identity that works at that size: a clear mark, a naming system for qualities and collections, and a header card layout showing composition, GSM, width and article number. For fashion labels and uniform suppliers, the same system extends to swing tags, woven labels and packaging.

  • Logo, swing tag and woven label system
  • Swatch card and header card templates
  • Collection and quality naming guide

Web Design & UI/UX

One sample request for several fabrics

Buyers want to filter by fibre, weave or knit, GSM, width and finish before they ask for anything. We design a catalogue around those filters, with a sample basket that collects several articles in one request and a compliance page limited to what you can evidence. Close-up fabric images come from a shot list we write for your photographer. Gated lookbooks show which buying houses and brands downloaded a collection, and when.

  • Fabric finder by fibre, construction, GSM and finish
  • Multi-article sample request basket
  • Fabric close-up shot list and brief for your photographer

Digital Marketing

Line sheets in buyers' hands before range reviews

Search campaigns target the fabric and garment terms export buyers use, in the markets you ship to. After Heimtextil or Bharat Tex, each contact receives the header cards for the qualities they handled at your stand and an offer of strike-offs in their own colourways. Line sheets go out ahead of each market's spring/summer and autumn/winter range reviews.

  • Export-market search campaigns by fabric type
  • Post-fair header card and strike-off follow-up
  • Line sheets dispatched ahead of each buyer's range review

Digital Transformation

A record of which buyer approved which lab dip

Bulk is dyed to a shade the buyer rejected, because the approval email quoted the wrong lab dip reference. We log every lab dip, strike-off and fit sample in ERPNext or Odoo Community against the buyer, article and tech pack, with the courier docket and the buyer's approval or comments attached. Merchandisers are prompted when feedback is overdue, and the approved reference travels with the order into production.

  • Lab dip, strike-off and fit sample approval log
  • Website sample requests linked to ERPNext or Odoo Community
  • Overdue buyer feedback alerts for merchandisers

Our approach

How we work in textiles & apparel

01

We build a sample request form that captures fibre, composition, GSM, width, quantity and destination, so merchandisers can quote without a second email.

02

We turn whatever you can evidence, such as a SMETA or amfori BSCI audit, an OEKO-TEX certificate or in-house test reports, into a compliance page with scope and expiry dates.

03

We plan backwards from spring/summer and autumn/winter buying deadlines and the fairs you exhibit at, so line sheets and lookbooks reach buyers before their range reviews.

04

Our registered office is in Erode, near the Tiruppur, Karur and Coimbatore clusters, and we write the shot list and brief your photographer needs to show buyers the looms, knitting machines, stitching lines and dye house they ask about.

Questions

Textiles & Apparel marketing, answered

Buying houses ask for our capacity and machinery list. Where should that live?
On a capacity page on your website, with a PDF version your merchandisers can attach to an email. It lists machinery by type, make and number of units, monthly capacity by product, and which processes you run in-house or subcontract, with the date it was last updated. A buying house can then forward one link to its client instead of asking you for a fresh spreadsheet.
What should our compliance page say while an audit is still in progress?
Only what is true on the day. It names the standard, such as a SMETA audit or GOTS certification, the stage you have reached and when you expect the report or certificate, and it lists separately the audits and test reports you already hold, with their scope and expiry dates. Nothing on the page implies a certificate you have not been issued, and we update it when the result arrives.
Can we keep some qualities or buyers private on the website?
Yes. Qualities developed for a single buyer can sit behind a private lookbook link or a login, visible only to the buyers you approve, while the public catalogue shows your open range. Buyer names, labels and garments made for a brand stay off the site unless that buyer agrees in writing.
